Good Question! For starters, an experienced full-time programmer now exceeds $100,000, plus benefits (and good luck finding one available). Aside from that, your programming demands may fluctuate. Sometimes machines sit idle waiting for programs. Other times, programmers sit idle waiting for parts.
With the monthly plan, you can benefit from having full-time support without the commitment of a full-time employee. You don't need to worry about hiring and firing. We're always here.
With the hourly packages, you can cash in on support when demand spikes. Credit hours never expire.
All membership plans include:
• CNC programming of your parts
• Custom fixture design
• Programming of custom fixtures
• Detailed setup sheets with written instructions and images
• Tool lists
• Unlimited program updates
We provide the native CAD/CAM files (Fusion 360). We don't post the code. We request that you post the code to ensure compatibility with your post processor and machines.
We program 3- to 5-axis mills.
Programming requests are submitted using Trello. After subscribing to a membership plan, you will receive a link to your Trello board with instructions on how to submit requests. It's super simple. Watch the video below:
We currently use Fusion 360.
All programs are verified with basic tool path simulation, and in some cases, we also offer full kinematic machine simulation. But, due to the variety of machines and post processors on the market, we strongly suggest processing the program in-house as you normally would. This is the safest choice and best practice.
On average, most requests are completed within 1-2 days. More complex parts may take longer.
In order for us to hit the ground running we will need access to a Fusion project folder as well as your vise configurations and tool libraries. We will send specific instructions upon subscribing.
No, we don't accept ITAR parts at this time.
